Yesterday Downtown Cranford, the DMC Board, and Deputy Mayor Jason Gareis officially welcomed 908 to the Downtown Cranford community! 908 is located at 10 Alden Street and is the second location of the high-end sneaker store owned by JP Hernandez and Gustavo Gonzalez.
The Cranford location came about when JP, a Cranford resident, found himself driving through town on a Sunday morning and saw the available space on Alden Street. Both of the business partners felt that Downtown Cranford, with its variety of stores and restaurants and high foot traffic, would be the perfect spot for their second location.
908 opened this past weekend and has already seen a strong response from the community. Everyone from sneaker collectors to casual customers is welcome to browse the store’s collection of exclusive and hard-to-find sneakers. The sneakers are a mix of brand new and pre-owned, with many items often brought in and consigned by sneaker collectors.
“My favorite part of the job is unboxing,” said JP. “I love when someone walks through the door with boxes full of sneakers and we get to open the boxes and see what’s inside.”
908 is open 12-7PM Monday through Saturday and 12-5PM on Sunday. Welcome to Downtown Cranford JP and Gustavo!
