For now, here is what else we know: Doreen Sayegh is a beloved member of both the Cranford community and the national independent theater community. She has worked tirelessly to preserve her family’s historic movie theater, making it an updated, beautiful, and integral part of our downtown. She is a fastidious property owner, investing in the theater with all of her resources. Doreen loves this theater and she loves this community.

We also know this: Our community shows up for each other—it is just what we do, who we are. As Doreen navigates the days and weeks ahead, we’re confident our community will return to the theater and continue to make memories within this landmark building.
