Today is the official opening of The DRIPBaR Cranford at 102A North Union Avenue! The DRIPBar is an IV drip bar that offers two varieties of IV drips – Lifestyle and Health Support. Lifestyle includes IV drips that focus on wellness, hydration, and rejuvenation. Lifestyle drips cover a range of client needs, including treating fatigue and migraines, recovering from the flu or a hangover, aiding sleep, and more. Health support options often require lab work and a medical consultation. One of the more popular options is high dose vitamin C, which can lessen the side effects of chemotherapy.
DripBar is owned by Kristen and Frank Paladino, who each bring a unique set of skills to the business. Kristen has been a nurse for 30 years and was looking for a way to help people in a more integrative way. She oversees DRIPBar’s nursing staff and the medical aspects of the business. Frank has a corporate background and will be overseeing the business’s operational parts. DRIPBar employs 1 medical director, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 general manager, and 6 nurses. It is is open 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and 10am-3pm Sat-Sun. Patients as young as 14 are able to take advantage of the services that DRIPBar offers, with a parent’s consent. DRIPBar also has mobile capabilities so clients who are unable to make it out can still use their services.
Kristen and Frank are Scotch Plains residents and often find themselves visiting Cranford. One night they were walking back from Ambeli and saw the For Lease sign on North Union Avenue. They immediately reached out to the landlord and the wheels were set in motion. “We have only good things to say about Cranford,” said Frank. “The town and all of the business owners we’ve met have been so supportive. I tell all my friends – Cranford is the place to open a business!”
