Last week the Downtown Cranford kicked off the weekend in the best possible way – welcoming a new business to our community! Cozy Café and Grill, owned by Victor Garcia and Sandra Paola, is open for business at 117 North Union Avenue. The ribbon cutting was attended by Victor and Sandra’s friends and family, the Downtown Cranford office, Cranford Area Chamber of Commerce, and members of the DMC Board.
Cozy Café and Grill is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch Sunday through Wednesday, and also for dinner Thursday-Saturday. Its breakfast and brunch options include churro french toast, Belgian waffles, omelets, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. For dinner, the restaurant’s offerings range from surf and turf, shrimp risotto, and seafood paella to burgers, sandwiches, and more. Cozy Café also has a full beverage menu with hot and iced beverages, specialty lattes, hot chocolate, and mocktails. The restaurant also provides a children’s menu for the youngest (and pickiest) diners.
Victor and Sandra had the desire to create a place where people feel comfortable and want to linger. “We had our eye on Cranford because we know it draws people from all over the area,” said Victor. “I’ve been working on the menu for over a year and now we have the space to match our vision. This is truly a dream come true.”
