The wait is over – Cranford’s newest dining destination Fluffy Fluffy is open! Take a walk over to 100 North Union Avenue and see what the excitement is all about.

Over 40 Fluffy Fluffy dessert cafes are in operation worldwide, with customers clamoring for the restaurant’s famous soufflé pancakes. The secret to soufflé pancakes lies in the ingredients and cooking technique. Stiff egg whites are folded into the batter, which is cooked low and slow to achieve light and airy pancakes. Each batch of soufflé pancakes is made to order and takes about 15-20 minutes. The wait is worth it, with customers receiving a stack of fluffy, warm, melt in your mouth pancakes. Fluffy Fluffy’s soufflé pancake menu offers sweet and savory options including Eggs Benedict, Cookies and Cream, Classic Tiramisu, Nutella and Banana, and more.

The owner of Fluffy Fluffy, Garnet Liew, grew up working at her parent’s restaurant and had a desire to open her own place. “My husband James and I view Fluffy Fluffy as the perfect opportunity to share what we love about food, especially since we’re big dessert lovers,” said Garnet. In addition to soufflé pancakes, Fluffy Fluffy also serves croffles (croissant waffles), cheesecake, and beverages including lattes and refreshers.

It was one year ago that Garnet came across the available space in Downtown Cranford. “It’s been so wonderful to see people’s interest in our restaurant and their support,” said Garnet. “We’ve already met so many potential customers and neighboring business owners. We can’t wait to see customers enjoy the food and look forward to becoming part of this incredible community.”

Fluffy Fluffy will be holding its Grand Opening June 26-28. During the soft opening (through June 25), Fluffy Fluffy will be open 10am-7pm Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-8pm Friday-Saturday, 10am-7pm Sundays, and closed on Mondays. Give them a call at 908-991-2288 with any questions.
