Coming this fall to 126 South Avenue East is The Back Nine Cranford, an indoor golf simulator for people of all ages and skill levels! Owner Scott Grau is a longtime golfer who grew up in the area. Scott had been toying with the idea of a golf related business for a few years when he came across Back Nine, a growing indoor golf franchise that offers state of the art golf simulator technology. The Cranford location will be on the corner of South Avenue and High Street, across the street from the train station and Starbucks.

“I look at our location as really unique,” said Scott. “It’s downtown but will also have housing right above it. It’s convenient for commuters and the location offers great visibility. I felt like I was on an endless search for the best space, and this is it.”

Back Nine in Cranford will have 24/7 access to 4 bays that players of all ages and skill levels can take advantage of. Scott plans to hold camps at Back Nine, and the space can be rented out for events and celebrations. Players will enjoy TVs, mini fridges, couches, and everything else you could want for an enjoyable indoor golfing experience.

Scott lives in Mountainside with his wife and children. He grew up going to Cranford Theater and often visits Cranford with his family, grabbing coffee at Track 5 or breakfast at Toast. Scott is looking forward to becoming involved with the community and meeting other golfers who share his passion for the sport. Back Nine will have membership options for those who are serious about improving their golf game, and people will also be able to reserve times on the website.
