Cranford residents love their coffee, and now there’s even more to love with the opening of Aura Coffee Roasters at 109 Walnut Avenue! The Downtown Cranford office was thrilled to welcome owner Argjend Berisha and his wife Fjolla at a ribbon cutting attended by Mayor Kathleen Prunty, Deputy Mayor Paul Gallo, and DMC Board members.

Argjend and Fjolla share a passion for coffee. Fjolla has worked in the coffee business for ten years and Argjend has a background in the restaurant industry. As he looked for a way to stay involved in the restaurant industry without the hectic and demanding schedule, Argjend turned to coffee. He taught himself about coffee beans – their origin, roasting them, and how to craft the best cup of coffee possible. The first Aura Coffee opened in Linden in 2023 and Argjend learned that many of his customers came from the Cranford area. When he became aware of an available space in Cranford, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to open a second location.

“Cranford is so vibrant and walkable,” said Argjend. “People are also very knowledgeable about coffee here.”

In addition to traditional coffee drinks, Aura offers seasonal specials, as well as matcha, lemonade, and tea. One of Aura’s most requested drinks is their Iced Honeysuckle Latte, which is made with homemade honey and vanilla syrups, espresso, and milk. Aura also serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as bakery items that are baked in house. The coffee shop offers indoor and outdoor seating, so customers can enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee and sandwich or meet up with friends for breakfast or lunch.

Aura is open 7 days a week, from 7AM-5PM Monday through Friday, and 8AM-5PM Saturday and Sunday. Customers can order on Aura’s website, https://www.auracoffee.net/, as well as through Square, Uber Eats, and other food delivery apps.

Welcome to the Downtown Cranford community Aura Coffee Roasters!
