The Downtown Cranford office, DMC Board, Mayor Prunty, and Deputy Mayor Andrews, were excited to welcome Executive Dental Studio and Dr. Maryse Manasse to the Cranford business community earlier this summer! Dr. Manasse took over Dr. Konegan’s dental practice, located at 24 North Avenue West, after Dr. Konegan retired. Dr. Manasse specializes in prosthodontics, which is the treatment of complex dental and facial problems.
From a young age, Dr. Manasse was fascinated by dentures and how something like that could transform a person’s appearance and quality of life. She transitioned from a career in chemistry to one in dentistry, as she wanted more interaction with people. Dr. Manasse also wanted to be more than just a general dentist, and chose prosthodontics as she views that specialty as a way to change someone’s life. She has treated patients as young as 7, and continued to treat them throughout their lives.
Dr. Manasse ended up in Cranford when she began to look for a long-standing dental practice that she could join. Dr. Konegan’s practice has been around since 1970, and Dr. Manasse has been busy adding some modern touches to the space. One of Dr. Manasse’s first experiences in Cranford was a day when she was working late on the evening of Taste of Cranford in June. She was thrilled to see so many people walking around the downtown and has found everyone to be so welcoming. “Cranford has an excellent reputation and I can see why that is,” said Dr. Manasse. “I’m so happy to be a part of this downtown community!”
