We’re excited to officially welcome The Garrison to Downtown Cranford! Downtown Cranford’s Director and DMC Board were joined by staff from The Garrison and parent company Wonder, including Greg Rowan, Michele Dangle, Rob Garrison, Stephanie Brown, and Meghan Brower. The Garrison is located at 112 South Avenue East, the former home of beloved Irish pub Kilkenny House. The focus at The Garrison is on craft cocktails, top shelf spirits, and small bites.
Why did the team behind The Garrison choose Cranford? They felt it was an ideal location, and they loved Barry and appreciated the goodwill he had built at Kilkenny House. The Garrison serves as a separate and stand-alone business from its parent company, Wonder, and even employs some of the Kilkenny House staff. The Garrison offers Wonder the chance to have a physical presence in the community, and to interact face-to-face with customers.
The Garrison opens for business at 3:30pm, 7 days a week. Reservations can be made on Resy.com and a website and social media accounts should be live shortly. The Garrison can be reached by calling (862) 660-0202. Based solely on word of mouth, customers have begun to seek out The Garrison for a cozy night out. The restaurant has already become known for its “Hello Cranford” cocktail, which is Tito’s Vodka, St. Germaine Elderflower Liquor, Lemon and Grapefruit Juice, topped with Fever Tree Club Soda, with a Grapefruit twist as a garnish.
