However, The UPS Store 2421, located at 16 South Avenue West, offers so much more than just shipping and receiving packages. Jackie Reese has managed the store for 3 years and surrounds herself with a team of employees who go out of their way to provide personalized customer service.
In addition to its shipping services, the UPS Store also offers passport photos, notarizing, and paper shredding. Office supplies are available for purchase, as well as greeting cards and stamps. People can have banners, business cards, and mailings printed at the UPS Store. The store sees a lot of return customers, with most people coming in to ship back online orders. Business owners also stop in to ship items across the country.
Jackie spends a lot of time with her team, which includes employees Beatrice and Lorenzo. All of the employees have a great deal of affection for Cranford, with Beatrice making the effort to check out many of the businesses mentioned in Downtown Cranford’s social media. “I recently visited Cranford Hotel Restaurant and Pub for the first time and I’m planning to stop by LABO Refillery soon,” said Beatrice. Jackie has been coming to Cranford for years and has fond memories of seeing movies at The Cranford Theater. She also frequently stops in to Cranford Best Bagels, River & Rail, Fresh Press Juice Co., and Il Gabbiano Italian Bistro.
The crew at the UPS Store is big on giving back to the community. “Around the holidays we collected donations for the Toys for Tots Literacy Program,” said Jackie. “We chose Cranford Family Care to be the beneficiary on behalf of the generosity of Cranford residents, as well as the Cranford UPS. They will receive book donations, which will be distributed this fall. We appreciate and are grateful to everyone who shares in the effort of making a greater impact on the children in our community.” Jackie also has a special treat for children who visit the UPS Store. If you ask, she might let your child open mailbox #215 and see what they find.
