Spectacular Eye Care Brings a Woman’s Touch to Eye Exams and Eyewear

Last week, Downtown Cranford officially welcomed Spectacular Eye Care to the Downtown Cranford community! Spectacular Eye Care is located at 2 South Avenue West, next to Woof Gang Bakery and just steps from the parking garage. Spectacular Eye Care is owned by Dr. Katarzyna Ciesek and Maggie Nazco. Ms. Nazco has worked as an optician for over 30 years and Dr. Ciesek has been an optometrist for over 15 years.

Ms. Nazco and Dr. Ciesek made the decision a few years ago to open their own practice and just needed to find the right location. Ms. Nazco lives with her family nearby and loved the community feel of Cranford, as well as how walkable it is. “Cranford has a great vibe,” said Dr. Ciesek. “We are very much looking forward to being a part of this community. Everyone we’ve met so far has been so friendly.”

The owners worked hard to create a space that feels welcoming to everyone who walks in the door. “We both love helping people,” said Ms. Nazco. “We want people to walk out of here not only seeing well but also feeling good. Everyone should feel comfortable here. We offer a variety of price points when it comes to eyeglass frames, everything from basic designers to high end, as well as children’s frames. A pair of glasses is something you’ll be wearing for a long time so we want you to feel confident with your selection.”

Spectacular Eye Care is open 6 days a week and offers 2 late nights during the week to accommodate patients. To make an appointment, people can call 908-287-5287 or make one online. To see if they accept your vision insurance, just give them a call. Though Spectacular Eye Care has only been open for a few weeks it’s already received rave reviews from customers. A number of people have also made appointments due to word of mouth.

“We see Spectacular Eye Care as a one stop shop for eye exams and eyewear,” said Ms. Nazco. “Personally, we’re all about community and family and we’re so happy to carry that over to our new business in Cranford.”
